Hey there! It’s come to my attention that there is an overabundance of despondent, depressed faces out there in this world that we live in, and I’ve made it my goal to see that that changes. This is an epidemic from which the vast majority of modern society suffers, and I have a proposed cure: joy. That’s right- this little, three-letter word is the answer to our culture’s problems. We’ve forgotten what it means to be joyful; we’ve forgotten how to find joy. We’ve become overwhelmed by the sorrows of this life, and we’ve lost sight of the fact that joy can be found in everything. It’s easy to recognize joy in the big things, but the largest source of our joy is to be found in the little things. That’s right, joy can be found everywhere if you open your eyes: in the first blooming locus of spring and showers of cherry blossoms, in a freshly fallen snow and the sound of waves crashing against the summer shore. There is beauty all around you. There is joy in everything. There is love of God to be found in the little things. Let me open your eyes, and I hope that one day everyone will be able to see it for themselves.
